The Role
We're looking for a talented BA with strong knowledge / experience in Agile and HCD (Human Centered Design), to deliver fit-for-purpose business analysis outcomes to projects and initiatives.

Key focus areas will include (but not limited to):
  • Scoping and business case definition
  • Documenting business processes
  • Requirements elicitation/traceability and stakeholder management
  • Define and recommend fit-for-purpose end-to-end methodology and project approach for the delivery of BA services
Requirements
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Information Technology or related Business discipline
  • Knowledge of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABoK)
  • Knowledge of business analysis techniques such as:
    • process modelling to BPMN standard, business scenarios, conceptual data modelling
    • Working knowledge of commercial delivery methods including waterfall, agile (Scrum) & iterative approaches
    • Working knowledge of industry trends and advancements that offer the organisation opportunity and advantage
  • Experience / proven ability to:
    • Validate and maintain business process maps
    • Explain business and technical concepts in simple terms
    • Learn a new domain very quickly and teach aspects of the domain problem and solution to business and technical stakeholders
    • Write effective business scenarios, requirements documentation and conceptual & functional design documentation
    • Analyse and distil problems, collaborate with others to identify creative solutions and promote simplified alternatives
    • Estimate, negotiate, facilitate and interview
    • Plan and organise to ensure the timely completion of tasks and manage conflicting priorities
    • Apply industry standard business analysis frameworks, methods, tools and techniques
    • Apply elicitation skills to identify and understand stakeholders needs and concerns, and understand the environment in which they work
  • Apply requirements analysis and communication skills to:
    • Prioritise and elaborate requirements, to identify and recommend improvements and to verify and validate requirements
    • Manage conflicts, manage scope, manage requirements communications and to maintain knowledge for future use
    • Apply solution assessment and validation skills to ensure the solution meets the business need and to communicate gaps to the business stakeholders
    • Apply appropriate fit-for-purpose Business Analysis techniques and tools to business analysis assignments (projects or BAU initiatives)
