Job Description

My client is a Government Agency whose purpose is to improve the competitiveness of renewable energy technologies and increase the supply of renewable energy through innovation that benefits Australian consumers and businesses. This specific role is for an experience CRM Project Manager for a Grants Management System replacement program. To be successful for this role, the candidate must have experience working within a Salesforce or other modern CRM platforms and have exposure to cross-cloud project delivery.

The Project is a technology replacement so extensive skills in transitioning programs would be highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for this role are to work closely with the ICT Program Manager, Chief Information Officer, Senior Business Analyst, key stakeholders and multi-disciplinary team to design, develop and participate in ICT led activities relating to the replacement of the Grants Management System (GMS).

The role is required to ensure that the project documentation and delivery is adequate, adhere to industry best practices and are traceable to meet internal governance requirements.
  • Lead and manage the elivery of the evaluation phase and subsequent implementation of the new GMS and CRM by providing project management advice, direction, support and resources to ensure effective and efficient delivery of projects within agreed tolerances
  • Ensure that projects are managed in accordance with established PMO frameworks
  • Facilitate definition of project scope, budgets, goals and deliverables, and ensure that all relevant stakeholders are identified and engaged during the planning, design and delivery phases of the project
  • Ensure that business need is clearly articulated and mapped to agreed benefits to support effective organisational change management and technical delivery
  • Provide high-level project management advice and support to Project Sponsors, and all areas of the system as required
  • Effectively engage and communicate with all relevant stakeholders, including the Senior Executives, Senior Management, workers, technical consultants and suppliers to support the delivery of projects and desired business outcomes
  • Manage project documentation and records in accordance with records management legislation, including, but not limited to; official files and electronic file management systems
  • Undertake other duties appropriate to this level of classification which contribute to the operation of the section

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage needs of multiple stakeholder
  • Excellent documentation and business process mapping skills
Core Skills and Experience:
  • 5+ years of Salesforce or similar platform experience in a delivery or project management position
  • Proven and rich experience leading and delivering large CRM based programs end-to-end
  • Proficient with Agile / Scrum methodologies
  • Experience in managing exploration and transitioning type of projects including skills to develop fully costed business cases for Senior Executives approval
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional, positive, customer-oriented and flexible approach to interactions with customers in groups, face-to-face, in-person or via web conference
  • Ability to articulate technical issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Certifications or training in a recognised project management methodology such as Prince2, PMBOK, or Agile / Scrum
Key Deliverables:
  • Able to undertake current system analysis and future state design and development
  • Manage core business technology such as Grants Management System (GMS)
  • Manage integrations between GMS Reporting and Integration platform
  • Program Management services for the GMS replacement program
  • Collaboratively work with ARENA PMO and support the PMO functions where required
  • Lead Business Analysis and technology planning function
  • Provide project management services, including but not limited to:
  1. Project schedule and plan
  2. Project resource plan
  3. Project financial and resource plan
  4. Project change leadership
  5. Fully costed business case
  6. project reports to the CIO, business leaders and the executive management
  • Manage and maintain program / project specific risks and BAU risk
