NSW Government Agency is seeking an experienced ePMO Tools Administrator. This is an initial 12-month contract

Description:

The EPMO tools administrator will develop and maintain the EPMO's information management tool set, including the MS365 apps suite (e.g. SharePoint and Power BI) and assist with the automation of information from the PPM tools to ensure data integrity and provide analysis to support reporting outputs.

There is an urgent business need to work on the maturity of risk and issues management, and to automate governance processes in SharePoint.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage the information technology toolset within the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO).
  • Establish and maintain the effective relationships with key stakeholders and EPMO team members; ensure the appropriate communications are made to customers and management regarding the tool set.
  • Seek and recognise opportunities for innovation, automation, one source of truth data storage.
  • 1st level support of the PPM toolset, including resolution of issues and/or escalation to respective vendors.
  • Reports generation specific to controls area e.g. risks, issues, decisions, actions.
  • Automate the SharePoint action registers as part of an overall automation initiative.
  • Administer the toolset, automation of processes within these tools.
  • Continuously improve the EPMO toolset by working collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver improved business and technology outcomes.
  • Identification of key issues and risks associated with tooling, ensuring critical risks are reported regularly and addressed appropriately.
  • Ensure that the information in the PPM tool is current and consistent (i.e. schedules, risks, issues, financials).
  • Provide detailed analysis of the portfolio information that can be used to create portfolio views for various stakeholder forums.
  • Manage the collection, critical analysis and evaluation of robust business intelligence, reporting and data analytics to guide evidence based operational decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Provide expert advice on the rollout, enhancement and ongoing administration of required portfolio and time recording tools ensuring alignment with best practice standards.
  • Experience using and/or administrating JIRA Cloud would be advantageous
