Job description

My client is Australia's most recommended Bank. We are looking for an experienced Information Architect to join on a 6-month basis (till Mid-Jan 2023). We are on the hunt for experience in Architecture and Solution Design and hands-on expertise with Cloud (Public, Private, and Hybrid).

As per the client's Hybrid Cloud strategy, you will be building a new Data Platform to be setup in Azure. You will bring previous relevant experience to the role to include:

Support the existing Architecture team with proven knowledge on Azure Data Services
Experience in Azure Cloud Architecture
Experience implementing Data Analytics Platform / Data Lake in Azure Cloud
Experience with streaming technologies
Defining Frameworks for:
- Data Ingestion (Real-Time and Batch)
- Machine Learning model management and lifecycle
- Streaming Analytics
Introducing and establishing Data Mesh and Data Product in the organisation
Tool evaluation and selection to support Cloud and Analytics
Distributed Data Governance framework to support Data Mesh and Data-as-a-Product
Data Governance in the Cloud
Experience with Azure Cloud Data Lake / Analytics building blocks and technology stack (e.g. Kafka, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Delta Lake, Streaming Analytics, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Cognitive Search, Azure Machine Learning, Azure databases (COSMOS DB, SQL Server, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitoring, Cost Monitoring, Azure Policy, Azure Purview / Data Catalog, etc.)
