Join as an IT Communications Engineer

Client:

Required Skills:

• Strong Network-Communications background
• Standard networking such as Routers, Firewalls, etc
• Get involved in unconventional/legacy systems such as satellite, Paging, SMS Modems, Serial-Port Comms, etc
• The role would undertake a combination of Operations (BaU / maintenance) and project related tasks
  
  
• Network Monitoring Systems (NMS)
• FRNSW use Zabbix+Grafana, although I understand the skill-set for the flavour of NMS is easily interchangeable
  
  
• SIP Telephony
• FRNSW use Avaya Telephony (no immediate project on radar, but having SIP knowledge would be beneficial for BaU as it's a critical FRNSW system)

• Application Programming and Scripting skills
• Database Querying skills (
• Self-motivated with ability to learn and adapt to a highly customised Mission-Critical environment with non-COTS systems and technologies
