Job description

This NSW Government agency delivers best in class insurance and care services to the businesses, people and communities of NSW. We have a need for an experienced IT Program Manager for an initial 12 month contract. We are seeking extensive experience (10+ years) in agile program management and leading scrum teams.

You will accountable for leading end-to-end delivery of Technology streams to ensure the successful delivery of projects in the portfolio collaborating with the business, vendors and IT teams.

Key Accountabilities:
* Be responsible for the IT deliverables on the programs, coordinating with multiple IT SMEs and business stakeholders on a timely schedule
* Develop and maintain detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates and resource plans
* Responsible for raising, identifying and managing delivery risks and issues
* Identify stakeholders, develop appropriate plans and complete activities to ensure necessary levels of engagement are maintained throughout the life of the project
* Collaboration with other Program Managers to ensure alignment and identification of delivery dependencies across the portfolio

Essential Requirements:
* 10 years of Project delivery experience involving technology delivery
* Extensive experience in Agile program management and leading scrum teams
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate
