Job description
Joining a supportive and dynamic team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and maintaining IT applications and services in order to realize the organization's strategy in the field of information technology
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting a variety of platforms including: desktops, laptops, tablets, VDI, printers
- Provide support to physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure
- Communicate documentation and policies to management
- Vulnerabilities and Windows patching process / procedure and troubleshooting
- Ensure security standards are being met, and takes appropriate steps when deficiencies are uncovered
- Perform the RCA and work towards resolution for server management
- Take care of respective escalation like server / network, security analysis, pure voice support for pure desktop related issues and managing desktop by doing actual troubleshooting
- Able to perform root cause analysis and forensic analysis
- Follow all admin as well as security rules and regulations of the Organization
- Report Information security incidents and weaknesses to Operations Manager and CISO
- At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
- Expert level Administration of Windows Operating System components (IIS, DNS, DHCP, AD, Hyper-V, etc.)
- Experience with Windows Active Directory is required
- Strong Wintel Experience and Data Centre technology experience
- Strong level VMware administration, SRM, VMware ESXi Upgrades
- Strong level PowerShell scripting
- Expert level WSUS administration
- Good analytical skills to accurately identify the root cause
- Experience of working with customers through direct interaction during support and change management activities.
- Knowledge on Server Monitoring & Management is preferred
- Understanding of ticketing system is also preferred
- Working knowledge in Microsoft SCOM / SCCM is preferred
- Good understanding of ITIL and SLA Management with Customer teams
