We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join the team. This role is paying an attractive base salary of $120k ($132k inc.super) and approximately $220k OTE with uncapped commissions.

The National Account Manager is responsible for maintaining regular contact with customers to ensure the desired and agreed outcomes are being achieved.

The purpose of this role is to achieve upsell and renewal quotas and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with customers to define their goals, objectives and KPIs, and translate these into deliverables
  • Manage customer relationships, maximising opportunities to enhance the support offered
  • Maintain a consistent awareness of a customer's brand direction and current activity
  • Work closely with colleagues and other key stakeholders to ensure customer implementations are delivered on time and according to scope
  • Maintain regular contact with customers
  • Manage any customer queries regarding their account, products, integration and escalations
  • Manage the renewal of customer accounts
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams
  • Prepare targeted proposals, including quotes for key decision makers
  • Ensure renewal and upsell sales quotas are achieved
  • Promote products to potential customers, ensuring these are tailored to the key decision makers and address key business concerns
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of market trends and developments
  • Work with the National Sales Director and National Health Account Director to set appropriate sales targets
  • Deliver accurate revenue forecasts in line with business objectives
  • Ensure the timely processing of customer quotes, sales orders and invoices
  • Collect and analyse sales data and trends
  • Provide regular reporting (weekly / monthly) on customer projects, retention, any issues, etc.
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Tertiary qualifications (or transferable industry experience)
  • At least 5 years of experience as a senior sales representative in a relevant industry
  • Expert knowledge of the principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
  • Experience managing key client accounts
  • Adept at meeting customer needs and quality standards for services, and evaluating customer satisfaction
  • Ability to evaluate client goals and execute these into actions
  • Capability to solve complex problems effectively and proactively
  • Reporting and analysis skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across varying levels of an organisation
  • Ability to manage and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work well autonomously
