The company
This government organisation in undergoing an ICT refresh project and currently has a number of legacy systems in a web-based application which need replacing.

The role
This role is remote (work from home) however you will be required to attend meetings in Newcastle approximately once per fortnight.

You will be:

• Responsible for the detailed specification of key areas of functional scope for the replacement of legacy systems in a web-based application and portals
• Facilitation of workshops with SMEs to gather requirements and confirm the design specifications.
• Responsible for verification testing to ensure the vendor has correctly delivered the functionality specified.
• Responsible for the planning and specification of User Acceptance Test cases for execution by SMEs.

Essential requirements:

• Previous experience providing the functional scope for the replacement of systems in a web-based application
• Proven analytical skills and the ability facilitation of workshops with SMEs and stakeholders
• Advanced MS Office skills - especially in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Advanced Swim lane process modelling skills using MS Visio
• Experience in the development and execution of User Acceptance Test Cases and verification testing
• Knowledge of JIRA defect management solution, or alike product.
• Knowledge of Zephyr test case management solution, or alike product.

Ideally you will also have:

• Experience in the design of wireframes (preferable).
• Understanding of spatial data concepts (preferable).
