Our client, a major government organisation is seeking to engage a Senior Java Developer with proven Microservices & Java 8 experience, for this contract role based in Parramatta, Sydney (WFH 4-5 days per week). The successful candidate will join an existing team of other highly skilled I.T professionals and this role will focus on back-end development of a new public-facing web application within an enterprise-scale environment. The initial contract will be for 6-months with further extension likely for the right candidate.

Essential Skills
  • Minimum 5+ Years Java Development experience in total
  • Minimum 4+ Years Java 8 experience
  • Minimum 3+ Years Microservices experience
  • Excellent communication and client engagement skills

Highly Desirable Skills
  • Previous Government sector experience or experience in large enterprise-scale environments
  • Proven experience in the following: AWS, Springboot v2, Hibernate, Docker, Bitbucket, SQL Queries

You must be either an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident to be considered for this role. Or a New Zealand Citizen. As this is an urgent role please apply ASAP.
Term: 6-Months (+extensions)
Location: Parramatta, NSW (WFH 4-5 days per week)
Rate: $900 - $1,040 Per day (including superannuation)
