The company
This high profile government organisation based in Sydney CBD, currently has the need for 3 Support Analysts/Level 1-2 Help Desk professionals to work in a fast moving and supportive team.

This is a unique opportunity to work for one of the most well known organisations in NSW in a historic building and working with VIP customers.

The roles
There are three roles available for an initial 3 month contract plus likely extension.

You will provide Level 2 support across Active Directory, O365, Exchange, Teams, some server queries; answering calls, emails, face to face queries and responding to tickets. The roles will also be required to help the digital transformation team on a O365 roll out project where needed. This may require providing some training to end users on O365.

During the first few weeks for induction you will be required to be in the office 4 days per week, after this period there is work from home flexibility - typically 2 days per week working from home.

Essential Requirements
The position criteria is as follows:
  • 1-2 Years' Experience working in an IT service desk environment, including diagnosing and resolving technical incidents and using call-logging software.
  • Well-developed oral and interpersonal communication skills with a proven capability to deliver excellent customer service, user support and guidance in an IT context.
  • Demonstrated technical skill and experience working in a support context with a range of technologies including Windows, Microsoft Office/O365, Active Directory, Teams and a range of end-user devices. Some server knowledge would be useful
  • Knowledge of the practices and principles of successful IT service desk operations
  • Must be fully vaccinated
You must have excellent communication skills and be able to liase with all levels of staff. Experience working in a high volume service desk environment is essential.
