A large NSW State Government department with over 5000 staff serving the NSW community. They are implementing several SaaS (Software as a Service) and PaaS (Platform as a Service) offerings such as Microsoft O365, Service Now and Salesforce.

The Cloud project in flight will be looking to design and build Microsoft Azure cloud service foundations that will enable the client to focus initially on delivering cloud capability through Azure Infrastructure as a service, with a view to support the migration of Development and Test workloads where appropriate.

Mandatory Experience

• Minimum of 5 years continuous experience of working as a business analyst in agile environment.
• Experience working within Cloud projects essential within Azure (ideally) or other cloud technology environments
• Strong experience using JIRA with strong agile methodology from creating Epics to User Stories
• Experience in performing Showcases and Retrospectives
• Strong attention to detail with demonstrated experience in developing business requirements from abstract briefs and preparing functional specifications for complex or large information systems
• Demonstrated experience in business process models and associated standard operating procedures using tools and techniques such as BPMN, Visio or System Architect
• Advanced Stakeholder engagement skills with demonstrated experience in analysing business problems, conducting gap analysis and identifying root cause.
