Change Manager

  • 6 month initial contract
  • Up to $1000 per day including Super

The role

A Change Manager is required to to manage the impact and communication of change brought about by an important legislation reform project.

Responsibilities
  • Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support
  • adoption of the changes required by the project
  • Design, develop, deliver and manage communications with support from the companies communications business unit
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders
  • Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training
  • programs
  • Complete change management assessments
  • Identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance
  • Consult and coach project teams
  • Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers:
  • communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance
  • management plan
  • Support and engage senior leaders
  • Coach managers and supervisors
  • Support organisational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
  • Coordinate efforts with other specialist


Mandatory Requirements (Please ONLY apply for this role is you have the following)

  • Prosci Practitioner Certificate
  • 7+ Years of Change Management experience (with experience in a legal or regulatory
  • environment and within large projects)
  • Experience working with/in public sector agencies or knowledge of workings of
  • government
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
  • Forward looking with a holistic approach
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Organised with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills
