Success Story - Healthcare

Overview

In April 2015, Enterprise was approached by the IT Project Management Office of a global hospital group to help with an urgent requirement for a new contract IT Project Manager.

The IT Project Management office had recently been set up to increase the successful delivery of IT projects measured against key performance indicators such as quality, scope, schedule, budgets and benefits.

The IT Project Director needed to establish a project management capability to ensure the successful delivery of a number of new IT projects being undertaken. He had not been able to find the right person from a pool of candidates previously submitted.

When the online enquiry came through to the Enterprise IT Resources website, it clearly stated we had only three days to find the right candidate.

Solution

All online enquiries are immediately allocated to the most relevant Senior IT Consultant and their partner Resourcer. Once this team had been selected internally, we:

  • Conducted discussions with client-side to fully understand the business and engagement requirements
  • Developed a hiring strategy
  • Created a detailed job profile
  • Executed an in-depth search through:
  • Internal databases
  • Bespoke searches on social media platforms
  • Communications with partners and professional forums
  • Advertising on more than seven job boards

  • Resume screened over 100 applications (completed by close of day two)
  • Interviewed six potential candidates and shortlisted three (completed by close of day three)

After the client had selected their preferred candidate, Enterprise:

  • Drew up contracts and finalised OH&S paperwork
  • Onboarded our contractor
  • Carried out ongoing processing of timesheets, time capture, payroll and invoicing

Outcome

We successfully placed a Project Manager at this global hospital provider in April 2015 and have since placed an additional contract Project Manager within the IT Project Management office. These quick successes have built trust and enabled us to forge good internal relationships with the IT Project Director and other key decision makers. In addition, we have begun to develop a strong base of knowledge about this new client, their culture and their IT strategy, as well as an understanding of the Healthcare industry and the unique challenges it faces.
